The Green Building Institute: fostering green building through education, outreach and example.

The demand for green buildings has increased dramatically over the past decade, eclipsing the supply of knowledge on how to best build low-impact, high-efficiency, beautiful buildings. The Green Building Institute’s mission is to further green building market transformation by offering a wide variety of educational programs and hands-on training courses for building designers, developers, code officials, politicians, community members and students of all ages. Trainees enjoy membership in our green building networks.

The Green Building Institute fosters creation of a better world for future generations by enabling buildings to be built or renovated with less environmental impact while providing beautiful, healthy places to work and live.
